Food processing company in Dubai
The biothermic digester is one of Azure & Green's flagship products.
This organic waste treatment plant uses a patented blend of enzymes and bacteria to reduce the volume of organic waste, before using heat and an extractor fan to dehydrating the resultant digestate into a fine powder of 65-75% dryness using.
While not classifiable as a compost or fertiliser, the digestate has utility as a soil conditioner.
This case study examines the performance of a biothermic digester unit that was installed and tested at a food processing factory in Dubai.
Following initial consultations with the proprietor, a biothermic digester unit was installed and the trial commenced on May 24 2023.
The initial waste load was 28kg, consisting f chicken waste and ETP sludge. The amount was alter increased to 70kg per day of the same organic waste mixture.
The trial ended on June 6 2023.

What were the results of our biothermic digester?
A total of 601kg of organic waste was added to and processed by the biothermic digester over the course of the trial.
The output from the digester's chute was approximately 66kg of fine powder – Representing a significant volume reduction of approximately 90%.
This was achieved with an average power consumption of approximately 3 kW, used for operating the heating pads and shaft during the digester process.
